We strive to help find your family the best puppy who is well socialized and ready for your family.
We are breeders of AKC registered Golden Retrievers in Saltillo MS. We’ve bred for 25+ years. We breed for temperament and do our best to get them socialized so the transition from us to you goes as smoothly as possible.
Our Goldens are our family and we strive to help you find your new family member. We use all kinds of methods to get them used to anything that they will hear in their new home. We’re currently getting them used to airplane noises for a military family. The household sounds from the appliances to children and thunder. I ran into a Dogeared Momma the other day and said her dog has been “bomb proof“ since the day they got her. She said all of her other dogs were afraid of loud noises but her baby from us doesn’t budge. That’s what we want to hear! We want your puppy to feel comfortable and familiar sounds help with the transition.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We do not. We were stalked by a man who let his puppy get run over the day after he got him because we wouldn’t give him another free. Also, a good breeder friend of mine had a friend who got killed by a home visitor. We have our grandchildren here all of the time and I will not risk their lives for any amount of money. Also, strangers can bring Parvovirus unknowingly into our sterile environment or as sterile as you can get with puppies who love to play in their water and poop. We will FaceTime you and anything we can to let you know you’re safe with us.
We use Diamond Naturals puppy, lamb flavored. We just made the switch to this and we are loving the results. If you choose to change foods use the sample we provide to mix in with your choice of food to minimize chance of upset tummies. Please do make sure you feed puppy food because you don’t want a Golden Retriever to grow too quickly because it stresses the joints. If upset tummy happens at any age, we find that canned pumpkin, rice and rice water help. Plain yogurt is a good treat as well. Speaking of treats, I make sweet potato jerky for them. Slice sweet potatoes thinly and add a couple of tablespoons olive oil and place on a baking rack over a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for two to three hours until all the moisture is gone. Put in an airtight container for about two weeks and for about six months in the freezer for a nice treat while teething.
They are $1500 and a $500 non refundable deposit (if something happens on our end we can let the deposit go for another litter). The deposit holds your spot for the gender you prefer and we do picks at three to four weeks. Picks go in order of deposits received. We accept cash in person, Venmo, or CashApp for the deposits and only cash for the remainder. This is pet price only. Breeding rights are not included and if we sell them to you, it’s another fee.
Yes, if your puppy dies of a genetic disorder within a year of adoption and our vet agrees with the diagnosis, we’ll give you a puppy from a different litter.
You have 48 hours to get your vet to check the puppy for soundness. If you fail to do this, no warranty is offered.
You can rest assured that your puppy won’t leave us if he’s not perfectly healthy.
Our babies are adopted quickly, so reach out to reserve your furever friend or to ask any questions.

Summer can be the hardest time of the year with pets. Imagine being in a fur coat in the 90+ degree weather we get. If you're hot the dog is also hot. Let him come in to rest in front of fan. Freeze water in paper cups and peel them off for cooling their water outside. I also add berries and lemons for extra treats. I give frozen pumpkin, carrots, peanut butter (pure with as few ingredients as possible) Don’t give them grapes or human popsicles with anything “ol” in the ingredients list is toxic
